Best Books of 2020
It’s the end of the decade and 2020 was quite the year! I’ve always been an avid reader, but life in the time of coronavirus left most of us with lots of extra time on our hands and nothing to do. I, like so many others, turned to baking sourdough bread, at-home workouts, Netflix binges, and reading… lots of reading. 68 books and 24,453 pages later the year is officially over and we’re still under shelter-in-place orders in my county.
Here’s a round-up of my favorites from the year.
Favorites List
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
In The Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado
My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell
Pet Sematary by Stephen King
Beach Read by Emily Henry
This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel

Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance by Ruth Emmie Lang
I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid
